With high temperatures

and east winds in the months of July and August, the chance of seeing vagrants increases. This became clear again in recent weeks with beautiful records of Greater Sand Plover, Buff-breasted Sandpiper, White-rumped Sandpiper, Pectoral Sandpiper, Red-footed Falcons, Black Stork and Pacific Golden Plover. The Western Orphean Warbler, photographed on 4 August, which was later 'discovered' on the basis of the photographs published on 'waarneming.nl', was unfortunately no longer to be found.
