Only one of the seven predicted species showed last weekend on Texel. An Osprey flew low along the west coast to Vlie. The migration was disappointing but nice species as Wryneck, Pale-bellied Brent Goose, Black Brant, Iceland Gull and Richard's Pipit were observed. Besides these scarce species summer guests come in steadily. Also waders from the Tringa family such as Greenshank, Spotted Redshank, Green Sandpiper and Wood Sandpiper are increasing in number.
