From the last three days today was the best. Quiet autumn weather with little wind and a pleasant temperature resulted in optimal conditions for birding. In several places were Yellow-browed Warblers (around 15ex!), many Blackcaps, Song Thrushes, Reed Buntings, Chiffchaffs and some Firecrests seen. Also were some migrating Grey Wagtails observed. A beautiful sighting of a Richard's Pipit in the dunes east of the Lighthouse on 24 September was unfortunately only seen by two birders.
