After the heady hurricane (wind force 12 Bft) from Monday, October 28th it remained quiet this week on Texel. Above sea were seen some Long-tailed Ducks on several days. On 29 October, a to the southwest flying Northern Diver was seen at Westerslag (post 15). Besides some Siberian Chiffchaffs and a Richard's Pipit at the north point no real 'hard' species were observed. Late observations of a Whinchat in De Tuintjes on 2 November and today a Barn Swallow on the east side are worth mentioning.
