Both on land and above sea is shown frequently something good. Thrushes are massively present. Large numbers of Fieldfares and Redwings foraging in fields and grasslands. Above sea there was a great migration of Kittiwakes and to a lesser extent Little Gulls. On 4 November, a Leach's Storm Petrel was seen at post 20 (De Koog) and on November 6, a Storm Petrel. On the latter date was a Pallas' Leaf Warbler discovered in Den Hoorn. A Twite and a Rough-legged Buzzard were seen on November 7 at the north point. The next day Jeroen de Bruijn found the second Dusky Warbler of 2013 and the seventh ever on Texel behind camping De Robbenjager. Here also was a Siberian Chiffchaff. Today, two Little Auks were seen at post 20. In short November is certainly not boring.
