In the past week when many birds were seen, the focus was on a new species for Texel. Yesterday 15 November, a Pipit was photographed at Den Hoorn and initially put on waarneming.nl as uncertain Water Pipit. See link http://waarneming.nl/waarneming/view/80263699 Due attention of a birdwatcher the identification was changed that evening in Blyth's Pipit. This morning at the crack of dawn were already a dozen birdwatchers at 'the place'. Unfortunately, the bird was not found. The also yesterday found Green-winged Teal was still present in polder Dijkmanshuizen. The male showed himself beautiful from the bird hide. Another very nice observation was of a very late Willow Warbler in the Krimbos.
