Winter is already a few weeks old. For some time a Red-throated and Black-throated loon are present in the harbor of Oudeschild. Nine Red-breasted Geese are regularly observed in polder Zeeburg as well as a small group of Longspurs. Snow buntings are reported in different places on the island. Other nice sightings of recent days, nine Pink-footed Geese in polder Waal and Burg and a Rough-legged Buzzard in polder Zeeburg.
