of the last two weeks can be counted on the fingers of one hand. A Caspian Tern flew at the Horsmeertjes on August 8. The first Barred Warbler of the autum and the second Pacific Golden Plover this year were observed on August 12. The first was almost as usual seen in 'de Tuintjes' and the last was foraging in the Mokbaai. Some other nice observations were 20 Little Egrets in the Slufter and the first Whinchats and Fieldfares on the Noordkop. The three Cattle egrets (two adult birds and a first summer) are still regularly seen along the Mokweg on the south side of camping Loodsmansduin. Especially around this location was also several times a Black Stork reported. A juvenile Purple Heron held on August 14 at Dijkmanshuizen. Carefully, the autumn migration starts .........
