there was another record of a Dipper on the island on April 23. The location was a ditch with some dams along the Texel course. Typically a habitat for this species. The bird was very often in search of food and thereby often ducked under water. His food consisted mainly of snails which he by vigorous shaking, stripped of the cochlea. The last observation date was April 25th.

Because of the cold weather and wind from the wrong direction the bird migration has been disappointing. Nevertheless can be added almost daily new species to the phenological list 2015. Some examples;
