Recent days some Sooty Shearwaters, Fulmars, Little Auks and a Leach's Storm Petrel were seen above sea. The probable Pallid Swift who was briefly present on November 7 in the northern regions is a vagrant to southern Europe. In both 2013 and 2014, this species has been recorded on the island. Blyth's Lesser Whitethroat, which was seen in the Eijerlandse Duinen, is last seen at this place on 9 November. A Lilac-breasted Roller, which has been seen regularly along the Stengweg, is although being an 'escape' a very beautiful one.
