left off last time. The Griffon Vulture is still present on Texel at the time of writing. This impressive bird has been in the same spot on the Hollandseweg for sixteen days now. When the sun shines and there are some thermals, it flies around but always returns to a meadow with reddish brown cows. The last few days some Rosefinches were seen, but especially the characteristic tune 'please to meet you' was heard. Two Glossy Ibises were briefly in the Hanenplas. In short, there is always something to see on Texel.....
