I take a walk through the dunes. A few singing Reed Buntings make themselves heard. Several Stonechats, all males, perch at the tops of the bushes.
A female Hen Harrier hunts over the dune tops. On the way back along the beach, I see groups of Oystercatchers and Common Eiders flying north. Some of the Eiders have already paired up. Spring is on its way.
